Admiral Edward Jellico is a Terran Starfleet officer.
Starfleet Career
After having commanded the USS Cairo, he was given temporary command of the Enterprise-D in 2369 by then-Vice Admiral Alynna Nechayev while Captain Jean-Luc Picard was sent on a mission in Cardassian space on a classified assignment. He was very much a by-the-book commanding officer, which caused problems in his dealings with the crew of the Enterprise-D. As of this timeframe, he had a son - other details regarding his family are unknown. (TNG 6.10 and 6.11 - "Chain of Command", Parts 1 and 2)
During her tenure at Starfleet Academy, then-Cadet Jenna McFarland once placed a jumja stick, also referred to as "glop on a stick", in Admiral Jellico's chair. (ANG 1.04 - "Q in the Dark" and HF 3.04 - "In Memory Of")
