Zeta Voltanis system

The Zeta Voltanis system is located in the Beta Quadrant, within territory held by the Romulan Star Empire. It was the system that the Archein Empire chose to route its "wormhole gate" to during its invasion of the Milky Way Galaxy in 2384. As such, it was the site of numerous battles prior to the destruction of the wormhole gate by the "Iliad mission", leaving behind a large "graveyard" of starships. The system is one of those being patrolled by Starfleet as part of Operation Beta Shield.
