- I've met and received autographs from Walter Koenig, and George Takai.
- I constructed my own movie-era red uniform, though it does little more than show that I'm a far better programmer than a tailor.
- I've got the laser pointer shaped like a phaser. (With sound!)
- I played in a weekly online sim in the old AOL chat rooms in the late 90's. I remember with fondness, the USS Frost and the USS Storm of the *ahem* United Federation of Interstellar Planets.
- I met the current love of my life after Scotty's death. I read aloud to my cubemate that James Doohan had died, and from the other side of the cube wall, I heard an anguished "Oh no!" The rest is history.
