Carlos Pedraza, a former staff writer and producer for Hidden Frontier, was a writer for the Associated Press, and the deputy press secretary for the Governor of Washington state from 1991 - 1992. He has also been a teacher and consultant. His bachelor's is in journalism and history; his master's is in education. He now lives in Santa Cruz, California.
