The USS Sadat
A New Orleans-class heavy frigate, registry number NCC-65485, the Sadat was assigned alongside the Starship Kennedy to patrol the Briar Patch when they received an update from a listening post detecting Tholian ships using subspace currents to head for the Tekrit Expanse, and the Tren'La system. Arriving there, they discovered a large fleet of Tholian ships under the command of Siroc, and were attacked. They were badly damaged, when Siroc, demonstrated his knowledge and working of a tetrahedron in the vicinity of Tren'La. They were allowed to leave the system without any further harm to spread the word of Siroc's power over the tetrahedrons.
In early 2383, the Breen, having joined forces with Siroc and the Tholians launched a series of massive offensives in the Briar Patch. During one, the Sadat, alongside an Insignia-class starship and an Excelsior-class vessel, was caught in a massive attack, and the Sadat was furiously pummelled with weapons fire until her shields collapsed, before she was eventually destroyed in a massive warp-core breach.
The ship was under the command of Captain Zaar and was the previous posting of Lt. Commander Faisal, now the Executive Officer of the USS Helena.
