Operational History

In 2373, the Lexington fought against the second Borg invasion at the Battle of Sector 001. After the initial contact with the cube, the Lexington reported 96 casualties, and 22 wounded. (Star Trek: First Contact)

Commander Leransilia sh'Talath was assigned to the Lexington in 2369 as her Second Officer. She was promoted to Executive Officer in 2371. She remained with the Lexington until 2373, when she was promoted to Captain of the Steamrunner-class USS Hiroshima.

Background Information

  • The Lexington was named for the first battle of the American Revolution, and the series of United States Naval vessels named Lexington.[1]
  • At least one previous Federation starship has borne the name Lexington, a Constitution-class starship, registry NCC-1709. She participated in the disastrous trial of the M-5 computer in 2268. (TOS 2.24 - "The Ultimate Computer")
