The USS Akira
The USS Akira is the class vessel of the Akira-class of Federation starship.
The Akira was involved in the diversionary battle around the beginning of 2379 that drew DS12's defensive fleet away from the station. She stayed behind with the Saratoga, Independence and Olympus to fight the Grey while permitting the remainder of the fleet to return to DS12. (HF 3.01 - "Worst Fears, Part 2")
