Tybiss Mallim

Tybiss Mallim is the head of the Kelvan militia. In the absence of a civilian legal authority, the military operates the justice system, effectively making him the "decider" in all matters of public importance within the Kelvan fleet.
He is brash, arrogant, vengeful, hedonistic, brilliant and successful. He leads the Kelvan Resistance against the Archein, formulating strategies that take advantage of the Archein's excessive forces. He does not hesitate to jeopardize the lives of innocent people if it means gaining a tactical advantage or winning a battle... or a war. In his mind, the war between the Kelvans and the Archein is far from over.
