Commodore Terry (John Rawlins) was commander of the fleet sent from DS12 to intercept a massing Grey fleet, his flag aboard the USS Saratoga, . It was later found that this was a trap. After initially insisting that the fleet remain in formation, he opted to turn command over to Commander Elizabeth Shelby, ordering the bulk of the fleet back to the station. He retained command of the Saratoga - along with the Independence, Olympus and the Akira, he took on the Grey fleet in an attempt to give the remainder of the fleet time to escape. (HF 3.01 - "Worst Fears, Part 2") The Commodore was killed during the ensuing battle, likely saving the remainder of the fleet in the process. (HF 3.03 - "Heroes")
