Why is this under Encyclopedia:Canon?

Capt. Mike, You give no explanation why this particular article belongs under the Encyclopedia section. It's no different from any other informational article in the wiki. I'm changing it back. I appreciate all your work with categorization and such, but if you could make use of the summary field to explain WHY you do things sometimes, it would be helpful.
