Starfleet
From Hidden Frontier
Starfleet is the exploratory and defensive arm of the United Federation of Planets.
Starfleet Command headquarters and Starfleet Academy are located in San Francisco on Earth.
Starfleet operates a vast number of planetary facilities, starships and starbases. Its members wear a Starfleet uniform, rank pins and a combadge shaped like the Starfleet Emblem.
Starfleet consists of several fleets (at least ten).
