Hidden Frontier
This film provides the essential setting for Hidden Frontier: Ba'ku, its people, the Son'a, Dominion involvement, etc. The value and potential exploitation of Ba'ku introduced in this film provided the rationale for the construction of the Federation starbase Deep Space 12, to protect Ba'ku and ensure access to the Briar Patch for further exploration.
