Sou is a Tellarite Starfleet engineering officer.
She is married to Lieutenant Commander Qu'Qul and was formerly engaged to Dr. Henglaar, but failed to follow through with the wedding. Short and stocky like most Tellarites, she has brown fur and eyes. She has special skills in warp physics and civil speech, including when not to use it around the "pinkskins". Sou was good friends with Captain Janice Willcocks.

Starfleet Career
In 2376, was Captain Willcocks' first choice as the Chief Engineer of the USS Angeles, but she was on Qo'noS with her husband. (ANG 1.01 - "Return to Duty")
USS Angeles
She joined the Angeles as her Chief Engineer later in 2376. Shortly thereafter, Sou and Lieutenant Jason Munoz attempted to find a way to dissipate a plasma storm threatening Ba'ku, but the storm emitted a graviton beam that forced them eject the Angeles' warp core. (ANG 1.02 - "A Little Night Music")

USS Independence
Sou and her husband survived the destruction of the Independence on Stardate 60423 by virtue of not being there - as their mission had only been escort duty, Rear Admiral Cole had granted them both leave to Risa.
