Sha'Kev was a flamboyant Andorian criminal, part of the dreaded Orion Syndicate.

Personal History

On Stardate 55409.2, he was in command of a vessel that lured a Federation mission scout to his location. He kidnapped three Starfleet officers: Lieutenant Commander Robin Lefler and Lieutenants Toby Witczak and Luko. Over the course of the kidnapping, he murdered Witczak, injured Luko, and forced Lefler to board a derelict Starfleet vessel, the USS Maverick, and extract trilithium resin from its warp core. His earlier attempt was disrupted by a Klingon battle group. (HF 2.04 - "Great Starship Robbery" and HF 3.03 - "Heroes") Starfleet Intelligence has been trying to track down Sha'Kev.

In 2379, he sent flowers to Lefler via the Ba'ku Garden and Flower Shop on DS12, while the USS Excelsior was docked at the station. He used one of his associates to place the order. His harassing of Lefler made it to the point where she was too scared to leave the Excelsior and even dreamt that he went to engineering. (HF 3.03 - "Heroes")

This was later used to destroy the first Grey research facility. (HF 3.09 - "Hell's Gate, Part 1") The Excelsior intervened and was able to rescue Lefler and Luko, but Sha'Kev and his crew escaped.

Later, Sha'Kev was tortured and killed as part of a complicated plot to steal Grey and tetrahedron technology for Siroc and the Tholian Assembly. His partner in crime, Vorina, was the only survivor of the attack. (HF 3.09 - "Hell's Gate, Part 1")
