Summary

The Tholians make their move, and the galaxy will never be the same. New villains emerge, and new threats entangle the crew of the Excelsior in unexpected danger.

Background Information

Season 6 continues the serialized format begun with the fifth season's "Epitaph," continuing through the end of the series in Season 7. This season is notable for the replacement of various cast members. Bobby Rice replaced Arthur Bosserman as Ensign Ro, Julie Gardner took over the part of Vorina from Suzy Kaplan, and Noora Hadden replaced Crystal Huerta as Commodore Knapp's daughter, Traya. Suzy Kaplan's departure called for the replacement of her other character, Dr. Anderson, with a new doctor on Excelsior’s medical staff, Doctor Meredith Abney (Betsy Cramer), cousin of Ensign Mark Abney, helm officer aboard the Independence.

Crew Changes

J.T. Tepnapa and Carlos Pedraza were both named producers in Season 6, joining Jennifer Cole and Executive Producer Rob Caves. Risha Denney and Quinn Promarug became associate producers. Mike Urvand is formally credited as the head of the Story Department, though he began serving in that role during Season 5.
