Lieutenant Commander Qu'Qul is a Klingon Starfleet medical officer and he is married to Lieutenant Commander Sou. He engaged in a formal combat challenge for her hand with Dr. Henglaar, who was quite willing to let the Klingon keep it as well as the rest of her.

USS Independence
Qu'Qul and his wife survived the destruction of the Independence on Stardate 60423 by virtue of not being there - as their mission had only been escort duty, Rear Admiral Cole had granted them both leave to Risa.
