Lt. Commander Qu'Qul (Jim Fox-Davis), Chief Medical Officer of the USS Independence. Klingon. Married to Cmdr. Sou. Engaged in a formal combat challenge for her hand with Dr. Henglaar, who was quite willing to let the Klingon keep it as well as the rest of her. Qu'qul and his wife survived the destruction of their vessel by the virtue of not being there - since the mission had only been escort duty, Rear Admiral Cole had granted them both leave to Risa.
