Lieutenant Maya Stadi (Julia Morizawa) is a Betazoid member of Starfleet who was assigned to the USS Odyssey in 2384 as their new Chief Security Officer. She was one of the only senior officers to survive the disastrous 'Iliad Mission', and continues to serve in that capacity while the ship is stranded in the Andromeda Galaxy. She is the senior Starfleet officer, next to Lt. Commander Ro Nevin, the acting CO.

Personal History
Maya's sister was assigned as Chief Flight Control Officer aboard USS Voyager before its abduction into the Delta Quadrant. Her sister did not survive the initial displacement, although this was not revealed until the EMH from Voyager made contact with Starfleet in 2374, ten years before Maya Stadi herself would be stranded in another galaxy.

USS Odyssey
Stadi was assigned to the Allegiance-class USS Odyssey, along with the majority of the ship's senior staff, just before the ship was officially launched from DS12. She met fellow senior officers Ro Nevin and Alex Wozniak while on the same transport shuttle heading for the Odyssey.
Since the ship has become stranded in the Andromeda Galaxy, Stadi has repeatedly clashed with Subcommander T'Lorra, the Romulan Observer assigned to assist with the cloaking device installed aboard the Odyssey. While she resents the fact that T'Lorra is the ship's acting first officer, she accepts it as a "necessary evil" due to the Subcommander's experience in the field.
Production Notes
- Actor Julia Morizawa previously portrayed the Vulcan officer S'Tal in Star Trek: Hidden Frontier. This is her first time on a Areakt Productions project as an official member of the main cast.
