Interdimensional Vessel

The vessel was equipped with a quantum singularity drive which allowed the vessel to transverse dimensions.

In 2377, the vessel created a black hole to enter this dimension in Sector 324. The crew discovered the vast differences between the laws of physics between the two dimensions, creating systems failures and hallucinations amongst the crew. They subsequently abandoned the vessel leaving the vessel and singularity intact. The USS Perihelion discovered the derelict and suffered from the same problems as the large vessel. The majority of the crew from the Perihelion was sent to the vessel in an attempt to help the Perihelion escape but they eventually killed each other; the crew aboard the Perihelion suffered much the same fate. Another Federation vessel, USS Excelsior, discovered both vessels. The Excelsior sent an away team to the vessel and discovered the vessel's origins. The crew of the Excelsior destroyed both vessels in order to escape and seal the rift between the two dimensions. (HF 1.05 - "Perihelion")

Production Notes

• The model of this vessel is the same as that of a Star Wars Super Star Destroyer. This was not intended to be a "universe crossover". The model in question was the only one available of sufficient size to fill the role needed for this episode.
