Star Trek: The Helena Chronicles is a new spinoff of Star Trek: Hidden Frontier and a sister series of Star Trek: Odyssey. According to the official site, "The Helena Chronicles takes off 6 months after Odyssey's first episode and has three episodes in its first season. It chronicles the adventures of the Federation starship Helena that was seen prominently in Hidden Frontier's 6th and 7th season. The Helena is a Renaissance II Class starship based out of Deep Space 12 in the Ba'ku System."<ref>Areakt Productions announces second new series</ref>

The USS Helena, now captained by her former first officer, Theresa Faisal, is commissioned to explore the newly revealed frontiers previously hidden by the metreon gas of the Briar Patch. But not all is well in the wake of the destruction of the Dyson Sphere, and a surprising discovery may lead to deadly consequences.
