Background Information
The second season of Hidden Frontier premiered in 2001 and is one of only two seasons in the show's run that featured nine episodes. The second season is also notable for the introduction of at least one gay character, Ensign Corey Aster (J.T. Tepnapa), a first in televised Star Trek.
The episode, "To the Stars," incorporated footage originally shot for an unproduced episode of the USS Angeles fan series.
The official season 2 documentary focuses on this season.
