Background Information

The third season of Hidden Frontier premiered in 2002 and is one of only two seasons in the show's run that featured nine episodes. The third season is also notable for a fan-written script, "Voyage of the Defiant," that featured the return of the Constitution-class starship, the U.S.S. Defiant, which was lost in the episode, "The Tholian Web" (TOS).

The episode, "In Memory Of," incorporated footage originally shot for an unproduced episode of the Angeles fan series.
