Hidden Frontier Productions has taken great care to make sure that we make it clear we respect and are in no way attempting to infringe upon CBS/Paramount's copyright and trademark rights to the Star Trek franchise.
Hidden Frontier Productions does nothing to make money on these shows, and makes no CBS/Paramount-produced, copyrighted material available in high-resolution or high-quality formats that would impinge on CBS/Paramount's rights or ability to continue to profit from their trademark and ownership of Star Trek.
So far, CBS/Paramount has generously elected not to ask us to halt our efforts, although they may have the right to do so at any time.
Hidden Frontier Productions has attempted to remain true to Star Trek's spirit, and we hope that our fan film efforts help to maintain Star Trek's fan base and commercial viability for CBS/Paramount Pictures now, and in the future.
