FAQ: Contributions
From Hidden Frontier
Technical contributions to Hidden Frontier Productions' shows are always welcome. However, prior to sending any of your work, you should contact one of the producers of the show and discuss your background and technical skills and qualifications.
Types of technical contributions include:
- CGI work
- 3D modeling
- graphic art and design
- musical scoring by accomplished musicians
Additionally, the show requires a constant supply of people with skills in makeup, costume design and sewing, and film production.
Most of the shows utilize a fairly high-level of technical expertise. We are not really a place for learning the basics of CGI software, film editing or similar skills. There are resources to be found via the Internet that can help you develop such expertise.
The best ways to contact the producers to find out about their need for technical contributions would be during the weekly HF Chat sessions, or through the HF Forums. Both can be found on the main page of the Hidden Frontier website.
