From Hidden Frontier
Star Trek: Hidden Frontier is a stand-alone series. However there are several tie-ins that can increase a viewers understanding of the backstory.
Several characters are first introduced in different canon Star Trek series, including Robin Lefler, Elizabeth Shelby, Admiral Nechayev and even Artim Ibanya (the young boy from Ba'ku) from Star Trek IX: Insurrection. Though by no means is this necessary, a first time viewer might wish to review the appropriate episodes or books.
Having said this, its time to dive into Hidden Frontier. The following episode chronology is for the viewer who intends to partake in the entire universe, and not JUST the Hidden Frontier series. ST: Odyssey, ST:Intrepid, and ST: The Helena Chronicles all take part in the same time period, much as The Next Generation, Deep Space Nine and Voyager did.
- Star Trek: Hidden Frontier: Seasons 1-5; in order, in their entirety.
- Hidden Frontier: Season 6; episodes 1-3.
- Star Trek: Intrepid; Episode 1 - "Heavy Lies the Crown"
- Hidden Frontier: Season 6; Episode 4 through Season 7; the series finale: "Its Hour Come Round At Last".

- The ST:HF/ST:Intrepid crossover movie - "Orphans of War"
- ST:Odyssey; Episode 2 - "The Wine Dark Sea"
