The Ethereals are the telepathic leaders of The Grey Confederacy. The Ethereals employ footsoldiers for physical confrontations. Very little is known about them, and they are rarely seen. They seem to be physically atrophied, with large bulbous heads and glowing eyes atop foreshortened bodies with eight spindly legs. They seem to float in a green mist, indicating either that they have no need for gravity themselves, or telekinetically float themselves around to compensate for their poor physical condition.
