Starfleet Career

In 2376, Dave Mason held the rank of Lieutenant Commander and was assigned to the USS Angeles as the Executive Officer. He visited a restaurant in Paris with Lieutenant Jason Munoz in hopes of finding Captain Janice Willcocks. The visit was his first time in the city and he loved it. He felt that work helped him overcome the loss of past friends. (ANG 1.01 - "Return to Duty")

Mason, Katie Moss, and Lieutenant Jake Tenenbaum used a Federation mission scout to attempt to divert a plasma storm that was threatening Ba'ku with music. He, along with Counselor Moss made first contact with an entity named "Joe", whose ship was actually "attached" to the plasma storm. (ANG 1.02 - "A Little Night Music")

In 2378, Mason was present at Deep Space 12 for the informal tribunal that investigated the death of a Founder aboard the USS Excelsior. (HF 2.03 - "Old Wound")

Dave had a relationship with Ensign DeStevens, but they had broken up by early 2376. He is a fan of Beethoven.
