Personal History
Commander Robin Lefler 'initiated first contact procedures' with him, but nothing ever really seemed to come of it. The two worked together helping the Romulans perform some necessary upgrades to facilitate their ships better in the Briar Patch. Eventually, the two did grow closer, eve more so when he is assigned to the Excelsior to replace the MIA Corey Aster. By the mission to Korvalis system alongside the USS Intrepid, the two are officially engaged. He is also partial to Romulan Ale.
Starfleet Career
Aboard the USS Valley Forge
While assigned to the USS Valley Forge, Nostrom made a name for himself, to the point he was assigned to assist in refitting Romulan drive systems to function better in the Briar Patch. He also had some slight hero worship problems when he was assigned alongside Captain Mackenzie Calhoun, but quickly got over it. When the Romulan ship he was aboard was damaged while travelling the currents, he was able to expedite repairs in short order to get the ship running again, before the Tholians could muster any serious response.
Aboard the USS Excelsior
He was assigned to the Excelsior after their Chief Engineer, Lt. Commander Corey Aster, was declared MIA after the disastrous 'Iliad Mission'. He remains in this position now after the discovery that Aster was in a Romulan medical facility after his Klingon escape pod was recovered.
